I remember visiting the shelter
The looks that they all gave me broke my heart
The joy I had; right there replaced by sadness
All of them deserved a fresh new start
I remember driving north for hours
Her temporary home was far away
The reason no one took her was her color?
Well this black beauty found her place to stay
I remember picking Flip up from the airport
Scared as heck and quiet as a mouse
Mom in tears because she found her new companion
I’m so proud she welcomed him into her house
These are stories I will always treasure
They all made my world a better place
Giving them a home and myself a mission:
Singing songs about dogs every day
A dog will love you much more than himself
Truer words are hard to find
“The love you give, is the love you get?”
Paul clearly didn’t have his dog in mind

Hi, I'm Tim. I own a studio in Antwerp where I spend a lot of time making music with friends. Sometimes I make music of my own. Right now I'm working towards releasing a new E.P.
